The Federal ("Section 106") and the State ("Section 707") laws require that federal and state agencies consider the effects of their actions on historic properties listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (National Register). If a public or private project is receiving federal or state permits, licenses, or funds, the project is subject to review under these laws by the Illinois SHPO.

Ameren Illinois is now offering free virtual natural gas safety training. If your department has basic internet capabilities and operates within Ameren Illinois natural gas system Ameren Illinois has the ability to livestream training directly into your firehouse or onto the personal computers of your staff. This is a great opportunity for your department to stay current on any and all protocols Ameren Illinois adheres to when dealing with natural gas emergencies.
