CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (CE)
CE programs are presented annually in four locations throughout the state between January and March. Trustees who have completed the 3-Part Essential Trustee Training (ETT) in compliance with PA 95-0799 in 2024 or before have until the end of 2025 to meet the yearly three hour continuing education requirement. Attendance at a Continued Trustee Education has been approved by the Office of the State Fire Marshal and will meet the continuing education requirement for 2025. Trustees are responsible for retaining their training records and submitting their training hours to their districts. Members can log in and view their IAFPD training records here. |

Continuing Trustee Education Sessions are held each year January through April. We encourage your suggestions for locations. If your fire protection district would like to be considered to host a session and you can comfortably seat 75 attendees please get in touch!
