Annual Administration Training Sessions
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Both new and experienced fire protection district officials, including trustees, fire chiefs, and attorneys will benefit from these programs.
PROGRAM. The 2019 legal training focused on “Keeping Up” with the latest in governance and administration of fire protection districts and fire departments, and the ever increasing responsibilities of districts today. Each year's programming will highlight new laws enacted by the General Assembly within the past year which impact fire protection districts and the fire service.
Each program also provided statewide updates from our partners at IFSI & OSFM.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (CE)
Trustees who have completed the 3-Part Essential Trustee Training (ETT) in compliance with PA 95-0799 in 2019 or before have until the end of 2020 to meet the yearly three hour continuing education requirement. Attendance at a Continued Trustee Education has been approved by the Office of the State Fire Marshal and will meet the continuing education requirement for 2020.

2020 Winter Conference
Join trustees from more than 40 downstate fire protection districts in O'Fallon for the two day regional Winter Conference, featuring 8 hours of continuing education for trustees and 3 hours for pension board trustees. The networking reception invites you to "talk shop" with leaders from other districts. The vendor displays give you time to learn about new products and services within the industry.
