Continuing Trustee Education (CTE)
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (CE)
CE programs are presented annually in four locations throughout the state between January and March. Trustees who have completed the 3-Part Essential Trustee Training (ETT) in compliance with PA 95-0799 in 2023 or before have until the end of 2024 to meet the yearly three hour continuing education requirement. Attendance at a Continued Trustee Education has been approved by the Office of the State Fire Marshal and will meet the continuing education requirement for 2024. Trustees are responsible for retaining their training records and submitting their training hours to their districts. Members can log in and view their IAFPD training records here. |
