2022 Continuing Trustee Education Sessions will focus on Mistakes for a Fire Protection District NOT to Make. Join us to learn how not to make the most common mistakes in fire protection district governance. We will concentrate on best practices in due diligence with financial reporting, purchasing, Open Meetings Act compliance, personnel matters, mutual aid, and more. Speakers will also cover the new laws enacted by the General Assembly.
Continuing Trustee Education Sessions are held each year January through March. We encourage your suggestions for locations. If your fire protection district would like to be considered to host a session and you can comfortably seat 75 attendees please get in touch!
These programs are presented with the support of our education partners. Thank you!
