Announcing the Fall Presentaion of Essential Trustee Training!
The ETT program will be presented November 3rd & 4th at West Chicago FPD.
Friday, November 3, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Part 1 - Fire Protection District Organization & Administration
Saturday, November 4, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm: Part 2 - Finances, Procurement, Legal Liability
Saturday, November 4, 12:30 pm - 4:45 pm: Part 3 - Personnel & Human Resources
In addition to providing trustees with the information needed to meet the challenges of administering a fire district, the ETT Program is approved legal training that allows additional compensation for paid trustees who complete the program under Public Act 95-0799. Each part of the training is 4 hours in length. Trustees who have completed all three parts will be mailed a completion certificate signed by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
