It is the mission of IAFPD to bring you the best educational opportunities to help you fulfill the duties of your position with your Fire Protection District. In addition to the Advanced Trustee Training Program (ATT), IAFPD brings engaging speakers, relevant topics and leadership training to help you reach your educational goals with Administration Training Sessions (ATS), held in different areas throughout the year.
The Winter Conference brings not only the opportunity to obtain Continuing Education (CE) credit, but also network with other Fire Protection Districts as well as industry partners in a relaxed environment. This 5th annual event is scheduled for February 15-16 in O'Fallon. Register here
The Annual Conference brings education, exhibits, and special events together for a weekend of learning and networking. Educational programs are selected based on the ever changing duties of Fire Protection Districts and their officials, and are offered for not only trustees, but Chiefs and personnel as well. At the conference, you will find ample opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits for those who have previously completed the 3-Part Advanced Trustee Training, which is presented based on the needs of our members.
Over the past year IAFPD introduced Online Programs. This exciting new educational opportunity brings training to you, and allows you to earn Continuing Education credits while enhancing your ATS experience. Whether you need to brush up on material you have gained at previous training sessions, or you would like to earn additional CE at your own pace, we hope that you will take advantage of this convenient and affordable new platform, brought you this year in partnership with the Illinois Fire Sprinkler Coalition.
As always, you may contact the IAFPD office with any suggestions on educational topics, or for more information on any of our educational programming.
