This year's only presentation of Essential Trustee Training is being offered this Fall. In addition to providing trustees with the information needed to meet the challenges of administering a fire district, the ETT Program is 3-part legal training that allows additional compensation who complete the program under 70/ILCS705/6(c).

Open Meetings Act (OMA) Training
Saturday, October 3. 2020 at 1 PM in Champaign

This program is developed more specifically for fire districts and serves as an alternative to the existing online training through the Illinois Attorney General’s website This program allows newly appointed or elected trustees with the opportunity to meet their Open Meetings Act training requirement in a hybrid (in-person or via live web meeting) format. Trustees who have completed the 12-hour ETT program will earn 2 CE hours by completing this program.
