HB 544 - Amends the Fire Protection District Act. Public Act 93-0126. Effective January 1, 2004.

HB 544 - Allows a fire protection district receiving revenues of less than $850,000 (rather than appropriating less than $200,000) for the fiscal year to prepare the financial report required by Section 3 of the Governmental Account Audit Act in lieu of an audit.
