LEGISLATIVE ISSUES FOR 2007-2008
Fire Service Legislative Caucus: On November 8-9, 2007, the Illinois Fire Services Association brought together its member organizations to discuss and identify key issues of concern for the Illinois fire service which could potentially be addressed during the 95th General Assembly by the Fire Service Legislative Caucus, chaired by Representative Don Moffitt. Attached is an overview of the issues brought to the table, their priority level, and the individual organizations who will be taking the advocacy lead on each issue.

Please note, that while the IAFPD may not be the lead organization on a particular issue, our organization will remain involved at some level to ensure the best outcome for our members when necessary.
