Your Membership Involvement is Welcome & Encouraged Contribute to our growth and progress, meet other fire district trustees and be active with IAFPD! Committee Chairman and General Committee Description Conference Program Brett P. Kunkel - Schedule, topics, recruit speakers/keynotes, arrange demos and entertainment Conference Exhibits Don Thompson - Vendor hospitality, tradeshow assistance, solicit new vendors/sponsorship Golf Outing Gerry Stahr - Golf course selection, prize and sponsor recruitment, fund-raising events and registration Education Del Housenga - Coordinate administrative training programs and fall workshops EMS Zach Lawrence - Represent the fire protection districts in the EMS community within Illinois Legislative Tom Harnsberger - Develop legislative platform, review, alert and act on pending bills Publications Zach Lawrence - Fire Call articles, columns and cover images. Promote use of other printed resources Media Anthony LaRocca - Develop news releases, encourage publicity that support the events/progress of the IAFPD Scholarship Stan Seevers - Maintenance and growth of current scholarship program via fundraising activities Committees meet a couple times each year, often by conference call.
